Ruben Neves - Wolves' Portuguese Midfielder

Ruben Neves has been around a long time, and yet he is only 22 years old. On 20 October 2015, aged 18 years and 221 days, Neves became the youngest player to start as captain in the Champions League, helping Porto to a 2–0 win against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the group phase and surpassing previous record holder Rafael van der Vaart, who held it since 16 September 2003.

Going from Champions League football to the Championship, the 2nd division in England, Ruben Neves joined an exciting project in Wolves, where seemingly new owners brought in alot of money and new players to the club. Alot of portugese players to be exact, all young exciting prospect and Neves was the pick of the bunch, only costing around 15 million euros, a bargain for a player of his quality. Scorer of many wonderful goals, Ruben Neves has made his mark on the English game, showing people why he was considered one of the best young Portuguese prospects.
