Foldable UI concept

As we all know the design of smartphones over the past few years have been similar and this is affecting the sales of smartphones which forces smartphone manufacturers to evolve. With this new evolution comes one of the most questionable form factors in terms of human experience.

The entire foldable concept is based on the idea that you can turn your phone into a tablet. Most of the apps we currently use would need to be rethought almost entirely as the have to switch from an 8:9 aspect ratio into a 16:9. This bigger screen would mean more use cases for our smartphones and the ability to feed us more content.
Quoting Bill Gates -“ Content is king”, so let's see what kind of content can we benefit from this aspect ratio.
