Logo redesign for Mercury Development contest

Hi, however i'm new in logo designing, i tried as i can.

I'm presenting unique and easy to remember logo for Mercury Development. MD is a leading software development company in the U.S. They build innovative apps for startups, develop multi-million user products from the ground up and help enterprises transform with mobile & cloud applications.

In logo you can see Mercury planet with seven craters and wings of Hermes, that is the smallest and innermost planet in the Solar System. Its orbit around the Sun takes only 87.97 days, the shortest of all the planets in the Solar System. Mercury is named after the messenger of the Roman gods, who is also known as Hermes in Greek mythology.
This is because of the speed in which Mercury orbits the Sun and the speed with which Mercury the Roman deity was able to deliver messages.

As said earlier there are seven craters in our logo.
In ancient Greece, seven is the symbol of Apollo.
Apollo is a symbol of beauty, the patron of the arts in ancient Greek mythology, the cult of this Greek god came from Asia Minor. Apollo was born on the seventh day of the month; his lyre had seven strings. In the legends you can find seven Hesperides, seven circles of hell, seven gates, seven daughters of Astarte, seven cyclops, seven children of Niobe, seven pipes of Pan’s flute

As font i chose Ethnocentric font. It reminds fonts of titles or texts in spaceships of Nasa or SpaceX.
