Responsive SEO pages
We are working on a system of automated localized pages to optimize our SEO. Those kind of pages are generally real ugly and only show poorly formatted text to get some traction from the SEO robots out there.
At Opendoor we are trying to be a bit better and make it accessible to actual humans while also gaining a bit of SEO juice at the same time.
We hope to gain traction by providing value instead throwing marketing money to google for traffic like the other player in the industry that made the SEO keyword market unaffordable.
Organic growth is a buzzword thrown out in every 2 medium post but it's actually really hard. That's the reason why most big company adopt a performance marketing approach to SEO.
I used to be okay with this. It's the law of the market. Supply and demand dictate the price. I'm designing web pages for a living and I work in the real estate industry so I'm part of the wrong-doers here.
Our design team philosophy is pushing for education and bringing value to our visitors/customers. We ain't gonna change the SEO market but we are trying...
