Making Friends

This work was a self set challenge to do a range of children's illustrations that could become a story. to me there was and still is no place as magical as a garden. I started by doing a large range of sketches until I felt that the composition was just right and I felt I had created a tender moment between these two cuties. the sketch in the final one I used to paint and create the finished painting which is A4 in size.
