Venezuela to the World - A Cash Transfer Mobile App
Concept:
A friend of mine came to me telling me about the concept and idea she had (from her own btw) …. And It matter of seconds was totally in it just caught my attention at a 200% ...
Oh btw my friend's name is Atilana Piñon but everyone call's her by her nickname: "Ati" , she's an entrepreneur born in Venezuela but currently living in Colombia. Lots of you probably don’t know but I’ m from Colombia and what lots of you probably really know is about the immigrant situation we are living inside Colombia with the Venezuelan people who are basically running away from they own country because they don’t have the normal chances like the rest of us: job opportunities, education, food, etc, etc and besides all this they are living this dictatorial situation inside their country.
So Ati came with this beautiful idea of making an app for helping her own people so the Immigrant ppl around the globe living outside Venezuela could send money to their own people: friends, siblings, family or whoever might need cash inside Venezuela. Let’s remember how devalued their own currency it is.
However this was just the main function of the app but behind curtains Ati knew this was just a tiny way to help her own ppl, She would settle only with that she wanted to help to the core of the problem : EDUCATION in her country So the real thing here is each time someone makes a transfer for someone in Venezuela they are also helping with a very small % contributing to pay scholarships for kids back in her country.
:)
A Visual + Storytelling Solution:
The app basically works as any other app that could do the basics for sending cash to someone….
However, from the onboarding till the whole flow of sending cash to someone, there is this little kids every-time helping you, guiding you, giving you tips, etc, etc. They work on the interface as the main characters of it, and so they will Humbly persuade you for a change of help meanwhile you get to the goal of you helping other ones by sending you to own cash.
