Lakovečky 02

Connecting seemingly weird concepts together. “Lakovečky” is a fancy old Czechoslovakian word for leather loafers 👞 specifically made to shine. —

Step #2 make a fictional music label “Lakovečky golden records” because many of our parents recognize Czechoslovakia as the “golden years” before we got separated in 1993.

Step #3 find a couple of lovely vintage ads I love so much and have no connection whatsoever (I can spend hours on Pinterest browsing them — look closely you’ll see New York and Paris, my dream cities to visit)

Step 4# a little quote from a vintage Baťa ad. See, the brand Baťa or internationally “Bata” is a classic shoemaking brand originated in Slovakia. Search for them on Pinterest and you’ll see how hlobal the business got in the last century. Still one of my biggest inspiration was the main behind it all.
