Robert Glatzel - RG9 - Cardiff City's Summer Signing Scores

Robert Glatzel was Cardiff City's biggest summer signing to help them fire themselves back into the Premier League at the first try. Coming from Germany's Second Division, he has worked his way up scoring alot of goals along the way including a hat-trick against Bayern Munich in the cup. Now he arrives in South Wales with the hope of scoring the goals to get them back into the Premier League.

Having got off to a slow start in striker terms, he scored no goals in his first games, but was a very productive player, getting involved linking up the playand creating chances for others. Chances for himself however where very few and far between. But his chance came from the penalty spot where he got fouled as he was about to shoot in the box. Glatzel stepped up and smashed home the penalty. His emotion and releif came out in the celebration and his teammates were so pleased for him. Lets hope this kick starts his season and Glatzel scores the goals to fire Cardiff back in to the premier league.
