Roommate Matching Application Design

We brainstormed a common problem in college today. Roommates. Ever have a bad roommate? Feeling uneasy about moving in with a stranger? Well we have a solution. This roommate matching application allows users to pre-screen their roommate. First, users would create a profile specifying their needs and desires. Then the system will match them with users with similar responses. Users can then swipe left to discard their match or swipe right to save the match for later. They can also message their match right away. This makes roommate hunting less stressful and more convenient. Users can pay extra for background checks.
