TSS 2018-2019 Yearbook Cover

As the editor-in-chief and a graphic designer, I took it upon myself to design the cover of my high school's yearbook cover in my final year of high school. Pictured above is the final design which was well-received and appeared on the front of more than 700 copies distributed. It was created using Photoshop and Illustrator.

The thinking behind design was to promote our theme established at the beginning of the year – spirit – due to the creation of a new house system which promotes spirit that was implemented in my school.

Initially, the design focused on the four colour of the houses (red, blue, green and yellow), as well as the tiger which is the school mascot. However, I decided to simplify it to mainly focus on the universal identifier of our school: a tiger. This made the design less cluttered and allowed a more striking contrast in terms of colour and an overall bolder expression. By simplifying the design, I was able to achieve a cleaner look and eye-catching cover.
