Character Core Print & Digital Products

A foundational product of Strata Leadership is the Character Core Monthly Subscription. While Qubit was involved in the design process for each unit each month, 2019 called for a complete update of the look. The task list included revising designs of a magazine, DVD label, poster, and monthly email blasts—while keeping the existing logo and a familiar feel. The original cherry red remained as the primary Character Core color, but an energetic lime, periwinkle, teal, and mango were added to the lineup of colors. The body copy serif was shifted to a friendly sans, and a sturdy slab serif was introduced for bringing attention to headline text. A vibrating chain of diagonal slashes served as a textural element to tie together the set of deliverables. A final charge was translating these design decisions to the monthly interview and quality introduction videos and motion graphics.
