In about two weeks from now it will be 10 years since the passing of one of Belgium’s most memorable cyclists, Frank Vandenbroucke. To honor and commemorate him, 34 visual artists and 34 literary artists were asked to create a work inspired by his life.

I was happy to be asked as one of the artists, and was inspired by VDB’s fenomenal victory in Paris-Nice, which was on a particularly cold and snowy day, to create this work.
