Videography & Post-production
With plenty of hands-on experience with different DSLR and digital cameras, crafting rushes into impactful and engaging visual stories has become second nature.
One of my favourite pieces of work has been with St John’s Winchester, a local charity empowering and enabling elderly residents to live life to the fullest. St John’s is one of the country’s oldest charities with a long history of supporting people of limited means. They provide care to around 150 older people who choose to make St John’s Winchester their home.
Knowing the purpose of the video before filming really helped us to ask the right questions when interviewing our subjects. Because of this, we had been able to choose different options and greatly improve the flow of the edit. We filmed in their many different rooms and spaces to reflect the number of events going on.
By following these processes, our client was able to tell the story they wanted and we made sure we covered everything in their brief. St John’s were very pleased with the result and are using it on their website as well as at fundraising events, hoping to increase support in their time of growth.
“Since we uploaded the new promotional video to our website and social media pages, we have noticed that visitor traffic has increased markedly. We are delighted with the finished result” - Kirstie Green, Marketing & PR Officer, St John’s Winchester.
