Second try designing an iOS app. I don't like the current 'Chats' screen of WhatsApp and this is my point of view.
I condensed the multiple options and buttons you have on the 'Chats' screen into fewer taps. The star located on the top heads to favourites, the top right button is what you think it is. At the bottom there are only Chats and Contacts buttons, and the big green WhatsApp button that starts a chat.
I made it simple to silence and deleting the chat, by sliding and tapping the silence or delete button.
Green right bar: Unread messages.
No right bar: No unread messages.
Red right bar: Silenced chat.
Any feedback or improvements?
