Framer Learn - Logo process

Producing the visual identity for Framer’s new Learn platform presented a unique challenge. We wanted to create something bold and colorful that would evolve and grow, much like the projects we hope you make with Framer.

In the following days, I’ll show some more work that shows the process for the various elements, but to start, I'd like to share the logo bumper created for all our video lessons.

I started with a family of glyphs that subtly hinted at UI components without being too literal. These abstract forms and shapes eventually grew into the language we used for the illustrations and animations.

For the logo, I mirrored the same visual energy as the other forms, and made a morphing, changing logo bumper to accompany all the video lessons on the platform.
