Design system for UpGuard
I recently started a new role with UpGuard, an exciting cybersecurity SaaS startup helping companies reduce cyber risk and protect customer data.
This is a WIP shot of a design system I'm building out to help the product and growth teams scale quickly, efficiently and consistently.
This process included:
• Auditing the existing UX and their market; • Pulling together all design assets and documentation from over the years; • Consolidating inconsistencies; • Simplifying the colour system and typography; • Defining an 8pt soft grid system; and • Building out some common responsive components.
I made the decision to build this out in a single Figma shared library, with any additional documentation in Notion.
