Dropsend UX UI App Design

DropSend is an app which lets users upload, send and manage their files via cloud storage.

I served in this project as UI Designer and you can see some of the major screens in this slideshow. (Please slide to see different screen decks)

The challenge was to design something better which can also work with the latest devices, Especially the devices with the nodges and camera holes on the screens.

Initially, the app was ‘up on the Appstores’ with a classic interface. I was supposed to make it cleaner, easy on eyes & modern of course.

There was also a challenge with the type. Client asked when their users upload the files with the bigger names. Then they can't visualize it properly after uploading. Which gives them a bad UX.

I had to choose a typeface which is familiar & has less spread. So everything is pretty well contained and presentable even when the file names are long.

Regarding the colours, I had to stay true to the brand colours as the client already had a user base. So I was not open to use and experiment with different colors.
