Birthday Card sneak peek

Here is a sneak peek of a surprise Birthday card I have been working on for my boyfriend. He is an avid metal lover, and adores metal style type. Clearly this isn't the typical kind of lettering I do, so it's very outside my comfort zone. But for him, I'll try anything! Overall, I actually like it, but the double "P" in Happy didn't come out quite the way I wanted it to.

This design was heavily inspired by artist Christophe Szpajdel, whose name I finally just learned! I had seen a lot of his work, but never knew it was him! Check out his book "Lord of the Logos" and be blown away.
