GipsyBot — Handshake

🌞 Morning!

It’s been over a year since I started working on GipsyBot. My initial pitch helped the product land in the right hands. Yeah, you're right. We kicked other agencies’ asses at a very early stage! Quite a ride, that year!

⚡️ What was the challenge? The original goal was to help users achieve Inbox zero. At the same time, we don’t want them to take care of each and every mail right away — am I right, David? What we needed was a straightforward assigning solution.

🙌 Meet our solution. Handshakes deals! The idea - straight from the USA TV series Law & Order - came to our client's mind. Our job was to prepare the simplest solution possible. Oh, I almost forgot, it needed to work directly in Gmail. As always, I started with the user flow (lol, jk). When I heard that we'll be competing against others, I went straight to sketching on paper. The flow that you see above was just an extra explanation of our idea and it was created weeks later.

🤖 What’s GipsyBot? David Allen advices: “If a task takes longer than 2 minutes to get done, you should either add it to your to-do list or delegate it.”. GipsyBot is a smart to-do list for both teams and individuals that helps its users organize their work following the mentioned rule.
