Helpman's Pasta's

So, as my debute on Dribbble, I've redesigned the current website from Helpman's Pasta's, a take-out based in Groningen, Netherlands.

The current website (www.helpmans-pastas.nl) is quite messy, loaded with unnecessary WordPress-plugins that slow it down and it lacks any character. I've tried to fix this by eating lots of pudding, using large hi-res images (supplied by Unsplash), changing the color scheme, cleaning up the menu and making all of the products appear on the same page. I also used some more appropriate fonts, Helvetica Neue and Cookie, the latter being a Google Font.

I haven't yet designed the pop-ups that would appear when clicking a food-item, but I might do that in the near future.

I've attached a downloadable fullscreen image, it being around 40MB in size.

I must be honest, it's been a while since I've been working on websites, let alone designing them (I've been more of a developer than a designer), but I like being back. Besides, how could I ignore the kind Dribbble-invitation given to me by Lars Poort?
