Ariel Logo - Option 1

I'm working on an internal branding project for a new developer portal. The goal was to give the portal a more modern look and feel. We are hoping the new branding will make the internal teams more excited to explore the services.

They have been calling the dev portal Ariel, and the name loosely stands for Automation, Robotics, and Intelligence. They wanted the logo to be friendly and play off the Little Mermaid concept. I was suuuuper hesitant to take that approach for fear of the brand becoming too kitschy. This logo option plays off a trident that the God of the Sea uses in classical mythology. Each point on the trident mark stands for the primary pillars of Automation, Robotics, and Intelligence.

This logo is one of three options. I think it's my favorite so far!
