This attractive design was originally during Late Meiji era, 1906, by the artist Ichijô Narumi (1877–1910). It was originally included in a set published by the Japanese Postcard Club (Nihon hagaki kurabu).
The color was applied in the traditional Japanese method, with hand-carved blocks, ground pigments, and hand printing on handmade paper.
The paper measures 13 x 20.5 cm (about 5,1 x 7,8 inches).
