Christian Church
Christianity is a general term for the various sects that worship Jesus Christ as Savior, also known as Christianity. In the first century, it originated in the Roman province of Palestine (today's Israel, Palestine and Jordan). It is based on the birth, preaching, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christianity mainly includes three major denominations: Catholicism, Protestantism, Orthodox Church and other smaller denominations. In China, Protestantism is usually called Christianity because of historical translation. In order to illustrate the exact concept of "Christianity", the term "Protestantism" is called "Protestantism" instead of "Christianity". [1]
Christian belief centers on Jesus Christ and takes the Bible as its original text. Its core idea is the gospel, that is, the salvation of God Jesus Christ, which fully demonstrates God's selfless love for all mankind and the whole universe. God loved the world and even gave his only son (Jesus Christ) to them so that all who believed in him would not perish, but would have eternal life.
Christianity, Buddhism and Islam are called the three major religions. However, Christianity is the largest religion in the world in terms of scale and influence. Christianity has always played an extremely important and irreplaceable key role and far-reaching influence in the history of human development. Up to now, the major developed countries, except Japan, are dominated by Christian culture. Especially in Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Oceania, Christianity has shaped all aspects of human civilization, regardless of politics, economy, science, education, culture and art. China was also one of the fastest growing Christians in the 20th century, except South America, Africa and South Korea in Asia.
