Ganpati Bappa Morya Now a day in Mumbai, We are celebration Ganesh Chaturthi. also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi.is a Hindu festival celebrating the arrival of Ganesha to earth from 'Kailash Parvat' with his mother goddess Parvati/Gauri. His birth celebration is called 'Maghi ganesh chaturthi' or simply 'ganesh jayanthi' which falls in month of January of the Gregorian calendar. The festival popularly know as 'Ganesh Chaturthi' falls in the months of August or September of the Gregorian calendar. The festival is marked with the installation of Ganesha clay idols privately in homes, or publicly on elaborate pandals (temporary stages).
