Clark Landing Page
With a recent release of a student-tutor matching experience, Clarks first consumer-facing product, I've also been working to push our brand visuals forward while staying true to our past. This exploration aims to document some work-in-progress for new styles to bring to the next generation of Clark.
In addition to our tutoring business customers, we now also directly face families. For our new customers who are mainly high school students and their parents, we aim to strike a balance between young, energetic, trustworthy, and smart.
We aimed to avoid the classic ed-tech visual tropes (think cartoon smiling kids, globes, chalkboards, apples, illustrations, etc.), and instead sought to communicate what we do and who we serve with familiar tangible elements layered with high quality photos of real people.
We built a react component design library with branding, layout, and responsiveness built in. We used Contentful as our CMS to make it easy for anyone in the company to dynamically create and publish new landing pages and information collection forms that stay consistently on brand. This allows us to quickly try new messaging, CTAs, and imagery to optimize for conversion.
