Declined Card Explanations
A visual for our customer research on declined transactions.
When a person's card is declined, he usually
1) is confused and left in the dark about the problem
2) has negative feelings of anger, embarrassment, and annoyance.
We want the cardholder to understand what happened and leave him feeling better about the experience.
This concept shows real-time notifications to your phone when a card error occurs. You'll get an explanation of why the payment wasn't accepted, and what (if anything) you can do about it. A big feature for customers is recovering the points that they would have earned for that purchase.
