iMac Feat Octane | MBSJQ setup
Hey all.
As I get asked this question alot, I wanted to make a fun lockup which would help you understand my setup. This way it may help you develop your own workflow / setup.
The MBSJQ setup
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)
Processor 4.2 Ghz Intel Core i7
Memory 52 GB 2400 Mhz DDR4
Use some awesome script from fr34k's macOS-eGPU.sh egpu.io to enable my iMac to run a Nvidia graphics card.

This setup enables me to run C4D & Octane on a iMac. It’s not the quickest setup at all, would much prefer a PC, however with my daily client work of branding and packaging, I need the iMac to be up and ready.
So this is the best solution for me currently (Even though I want to do super 3D work, this will have to happen in the future.) Much love.
