Syracuse Sticker — Weekly Warm-Up!

Sticker design for this week's Weekly Warm-Up! The challenge was to create a sticker for your hometown using only two colors.

As I thought about what makes my beautiful hometown unique, I kept coming back to the idea that Syracuse is a city of people who care deeply about each other. They find a way to be optimistic in spite of hardships. I miss everything about my home, but I think the people are what keep calling me back.

One of our shining gems is Syracuse University, and their colors, orange and blue, have become our de facto city colors. From there, "The Orange" has come to represent the city itself (so much so that I have a tattoo of one).

I hope that you'll give Syracuse a chance. It's full of so many people with powerful stories of perseverance, and I'm proud to call it home.
