Nashik is an ancient holy city in Maharashtra, a state in western India. It is also one of the four locations of the Kumbha Mela festival which is held every 12 years. Known for its links to the Ramayana, it is one of the World's Holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites. Lord Rama along with Lakshmana and Sita spent 14 years of his exile at Tapovan in Nashik. Anjaneri, one of the forts in the mountain range of Nasik, is considered to be the birthplace of god Hanuman.

It is the 4th largest city in Maharashtra after Mumbai, Pune & Nagpur. It is also the 'Wine Capital of India' as half of India’s vineyards and wineries are located here.

For me, Nashik has a special place in my heart, it is the place, I call it HOME. ❤️
