NYRKR Book

NYRKR (New Yorker) is a photo book by street photographer DotShotIt featuring photos he took all over the city. In order not to distract from the beautiful photography, I chose a minimalistic approach for the book design and layout. For each spread, I chose photos that had something in common with each other like color, location or feeling.

The logo is a custom typeface inspired by New York City's rough edges and straight lines.
