Rest | Stress Monitoring Band
We are investigating how interfaces adapt across different mediums. For Rest, we considered how a stress monitoring system measuring heart rate variability could be viewed on a wearable device with a simple dot matrix display. Dot matrix displays are typical on many wearable devices and also place helpful boundaries on interactivity and information display, as a device used to monitor levels of stress should be as simple as possible to prevent it becoming a stressor itself. On screen, a series of points gently visualise stress level my moving upward more rapidly as heart rate variability increases.
