The Name: River Hops Brewing

It's a small start up brewery in a small (pop. 20,000) Midwestern farming community.

The client wanted to communicate brewing Elements (Water, Hops, and Grain), outdoors environment, and the city where the brewery is located, Fort Dodge IA in their logo.

Both text and image were requested to be included in the identity.

The assignment sounded a bit complex at start as the logo was supposed to include the company name and city in the text and the image include the elements of brewing water, grain and hops. Water in the form of the River.

At the same time, the logo must be simple and easily identified.
