Daily UI 13 - Music Direct Messaging

13/100 - Today's challenge is to design what a messaging application might look like.

My design is based on Spotify's look. It's a new feature that allows creators and artists message each other for feedback on their work-in-progress songs. The aim is to create a platform that let's creators help each other out, share samples, tracks, and get involved in their artist community.

This screenshot was part of a UX case study for improving the audio streaming application experience for artists & listeners. The ability to share specific parts of tracks or music samples was a feature that I hypothesized would be important based on the feedback I got from the field research.
