Have a Nice Life "Sea of Worry" album art

It’s a really strange feeling when your favorite band asks you to design their new record, which you’ve already been waiting five years just to hear, but sometimes that’s exactly what happens. The reigning kings of gloom HAVE A NICE LIFE recently reached out to me to help with the design of their upcoming album “Sea of Worry,” which was honestly flattering and terrifying at the same time. I ended up drawing a handful of majestically sinister snakes inhabiting some beautiful but confusing architecture, which to me is a pretty good metaphor for the inherent anxiety in getting older. They just released the title track on all your preferred streaming platforms and the full album will be out on November 8th. If you aren’t familiar with HANL, do yourself a favor and get in the know.
