Portfolio

I'm trying to get a new design for my online portfolio as my current is 2 or so years old. This is the 3rd design so far and i am still not sure, the more i look at any of them the more i don't think they work, but i think this one is working the best so far.

Can i get some comments on things which could improve it? Don't know what's going to happen with fonts for body copy or headings yet.
