Obsidian Menu Bar

I snapped a photo of my Retina MBP using Obsidian Menu Bar. I've been theming my desktop to look this was since 10.6, and I hope Apple will officially adopt this style for OS X sooner or later.

A black menu bar blends with the hardware of most Macs and emphasizes the content, a style made popular by Palm and WebOS.

Obsidian Menu Bar is system level hack with a user friendly installer that allows you to achieve this style on OS X Lion and Mountain Lion. It includes over 50 menu icons. Be sure to read the instructions in the final step of the installer.
