Dana Chisnell

For the next Pioneer of Design, we have Dana Chisnell.

Back in graduate school, I took a couple of classes on usability testing. Yeah, these courses were a good introduction, all in all, but on reading Dana’s “Handbook of Usability Testing," her insights really drove everything home when it came to usability testing. Through Dana’s writing, I was able to introduce usability testing as a necessary step in the design process for many teams in many orgs.

A little bit more about Dana: Dana worked for President Obama at the U.S. Digital Service and then she went on to co-found the Center for Civic Design (with Whitney Quesenbery).
