rydpay - Fuel mobile payment

Over the last few weeks I had the chance to take the challenge to revamp the full flow of the mobile payment feature in the ryd app, the front runner of fuel mobile payment in Europe

Having so many different partners and cashier systems running in the background it was a challenge to keep this experience as simple as possible at the same time we reassured and guided the user.

We focused on providing constant feedback to show the user that there is an outcome to the actions that they just took and covered the most remote edge cases so the user always know how to proceed.

Together with the development team I was able to find the best solution and now the user can pay with his smartphone directly at the pump, without any detour via the gas station shop or queuing at the cash register.
