Robin Hood Tavern

Logo design for a pub. This was for a competition I did early on in my career. I didn't win, but I'm stilly pretty pleased with how it came out.

I have to say now I've been in the industry longer, I thoroughly disagree with those kinds of websites and firmly believe they undermine the entire business - designers don't get paid anything close to what they're worth, and clients don't necessarily get anything decent or what they want out of it because the of the lack of time and communicaton between designer and client that is necessary for decent work to emerge. But hey I got a logo for my portfolio and some experience out of it so I suppose that's something.
