Quick design tip #5: Grid systems
A grid system is an invisible structure that helps you achieve a consistent and organized design.
1️⃣The most popular framework is 12-column grid; it’s possible to have 12, 6, 4, 3, 2 or 1 evenly spaced columns. This gives you flexibility over a layout.
2️⃣Break the grid if you wanna increase the visual interest of certain element, ie. call-to-action.
3️⃣Use a baseline grid to align elements. Aligning UI design elements to a baseline means you’ll need to make their heights a multiple of the baseline value.
