Case: horizontal or vertical menu, maybe both ?

This time I was thinking about which "Menu" type, horizontal or vertical will be best choice. But maybe we should let user decide about it ? Like in this case there is no issue for 1920px screen width, but for 1440 it may have value. Please focus on X axis on the chart. ;)
