The Music Department — Web

Branding & Website for a Music Producer/Composer.

We tried to create a pleasant aesthetic from a seemingly boring brand promise and positioning: The Music Department works in the shadow, adapting to your specific needs and acting like... well, your own music department

We played on what the name spontaneously evokes: something bureaucratic and beige. The website is a metaphor that suggests entering a generic office in some equally generic brutalist building. A single typeface has been used: Untitled Sans by Klim Type Foundry, which is a plain, neogrotesk sans that “celebrates extreme normality.”
