e-Commerce Customizable Dashboard - Dark Theme

Continuing from the previous shot... for Back-Office software (and not only), dark themes could prove dangerous, they are appealing and users might be tempted to pick this as a default.

There is a reason we keep dark content (especially text) on bright background. And we are talking about physics here, we have to keep people in focus with areas that absorb color and not the ones that reflect it.

Yet in some circumstances, having a dark UI might prove necessary, mostly for users that are using these UI's after work, during evenings and for short periods of time (e.g. a regular user, selling goods in his/her free time).

Another point taken from past experiences with e-Commerce Back-Office: make sure that the panels can be moved (even resized in some circumstances) on the screen, some users, no matter how much you test an experience, will have different priorities they need to focus on the app.
