Guitar Business Card Illustration

A business card illustration for my brother in-law who’s an excellent guitarist, especially in jazz. He’s about to head off to NYC for the Graduate program at Manhattan School of Music. Two of his favorite guitars to play happen to be hollow body electrics, hence the inspiration for the illustration. I took the color scheme from a Jim Flora illustration, drew a minimal take on the guitars, and created an abstract pattern for visual interest so it would reference classic Jazz records without beating you over the head with it.
