Gallery Go - Character Animation Showcase
Revealed at Google for Nigeria, Gallery Go is a new photo gallery app designed to work offline, that uses machine learning to automatically organize and make your photos look their best!

Here's a GIF of most of the character animation in the spot. These were all made primarily with custom frame-by-frame animation via AE shape layers (especially the hand animations), but other methods were also used. Rubberhose, DUIK, and a lot of mesh-warping were all employed in key areas to speed up the production process. This was my first foray into low-framerate animation, and I definitely have a newfound respect for people who do this style of work consistently.
