Hey! Gerrit Noordzij is a Dutch type designer who invented his own method of teaching type design. Based on this theory, students are now being taught at Type&Media at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Despite his age (88 y.o.), Noordzij is equally well qualified in both type history and digital type design. You can read about his theory in The Stroke and LetterLetter.
