Portfolio V1 WIP

Sneak peak of things to come for my .com.

Here are some goals I had in mind at the outset: * Designing for hiring managers and recruiters * Defining my personal mission/vision/goals * Getting clarity on my professional values * Doing a crash course in art direction * Learning how to (elegantly) break the grid * Creating an output that I can code confidently

What I'm currently working on: * Copy/screenshots for case study descriptions * Researching/implementing contact options * Finalizing content and layout for secondary pages * Getting started with Jekyll (might bypass for MVP)

What I've learned so far: * Starting with mobile wireframes will make superfluous content obvious at the outset * Stay in pencil/ paper mode a little longer; get clear on not only final copy, but how it should be communicated * What my core values are as a person + designer. This will make aligning with the right company a lot easier 💯

What I'm proud of: * Breaking away from that damn grid * Using organic shapes to create movement and differentiation * Contouring a map of Lake Garibaldi and paying homage to my roots in geography and cartography, and a love for where I live 🌎
