Product Prompt #30 on Product Disrupt Blog

I recently got turned down for a Product Designer position in Europe. Yes, this has happened many times over the past couple of years. Though the reason I’d been given this time during my feedback call was something that bothered me and grew upon me.

Naturally, I wanted to know if that’s how the industry functioned. So, I reached out to my network on LinkedIn and fellow designers in Designers Guild group on Facebook to know their opinion on this. Turns out, that’s not quite the norm (Phew!), read along to find out why I sighed.
