True self is without form: Zenyatta Meditation Animation

Zenyatta has a really cool victory pose where he holds all of his orbs in a line and periodically animates them with a sine wave. It really speaks to the focused concentration of his character and Iooks incredible, so this is my take on it.

I made an abstract illustration of that victory pose in Illustrator and added some simple wiggle animations using text animators in After Effects. The orbs are actually text: just periods (set in Bodoni) animating with a position offset using a smoothing curve with some precise range selection happening. The wiggles were fun too.
