GSA On-the-Go Icon Sketches

At work we are redesigning a set of icons for a set of GSA mobile sites and apps for employees, to transition from a 3D/photographic look into simpler line-art style. When complete, they will be placed on the GSA.gov On-the-Go page. Check out the almost-final version.

My sketches here are for the “parent icon” of the On-the-Go icon set. The desired concept was a hand holding a mobile device, so I sketched a bunch of options showing that. Ultimately option 1A (upper left) was chosen.

It was fun to get back to drawing hands again!
